Build Update #4; Foundation walls in

We’re all camping; day 4.  $20 on site comPOOst shitter is installed.

The foundation guys were amazing, super efficient, 4 guys working quickly and relatively quietly.  I bullshitted with them a little bit, and found out we knew a few of the same people, didn’t want to watch them work too much.  It’s a terrible thing to watch people work without working alongside them.

They erected the concrete forms and poured in one day.  They stripped the forms the next morning and were gone by noon.  This is a huge step, now we have a week of slab prep, and then we’re going to frame in the walk-out wall and install the first floor deck.  I cannot wait until we’re all backfilled and all of the site-work is done.  I’ll be posting photos.
