Because of work, no matter what we do we keep looking at our watches. The only thing “free” about so-called free time is that it doesn’t cost the boss anything. Free time is mostly devoted to getting ready for work, going to work, returning from work, and recovering from work.“

I’m not sure. I haven’t been in a situation like that for at least 5 years. It was terrible. There is a better way. I’m just not sure what the answer is. I do know that there are smart people working on this problem. My friend Halley is one of them.
